According to dimdim officials, 4.5 will be released within the next 5 weeks. That's fine with me, as long as there's an open source alternative, I won't start using closed source services.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but does dimdim change their licensing from "Free Speech" (Open Source) to "Free as Beer"? We were unable get current source code. What is your experience with what dimdim call “Open Source”?
